GIV3 Programs

We are staffed by a small team of paid staff and dedicated volunteers, without any specific office space.  This keeps our overhead costs low so most of our funds are used to directly administer the GIV3 programs.

For 2012, our plans are to:

  • Maximize the reach of the GIV3 message through continued expansion of our web and social media presence.
  • Continue to build our new website GIVGroups.ca, a gift matching site that leverages the power of networks and communities in doing good.
  • Expand our media presence through a focused effort on free PR, generating free coverage of GIV3 and partner events and initiatives. We are also negotiating “free” advertising exposure.
  • Continue the expansion of our GIV3 Partners program, and leverage their communications to also support our message.
  • Research and testing programs to drive greater philanthropy.
  • Continue building towards “THE $ BILLION SOLUTION” a bigger nation-wide public campaign (similar to what ParticipACTION does in support of active, healthy living).  Read more here  The $ Billion Solution Executive Summary 2012.
